Mt. Everest, the world's the highest Peak, is located to the north of Nepal on the border between Nepal and Tibet. In Nepal it is known as Sagarmatha and in Tibet by the name of Chomolungma. It lies in the Mahalangur section of the Himalayas at the elevation of 8,848 metres (29,029 ft) above sea level. Its massif includes neighboring peaks Lhotse (8,516 m) Nuptse (7,855 m) and Changtse 7,580 m (Tibet) .Sir Edmund Hillary from New Zealand and Tenzing Norgay from Nepal first climbed the summit of the world on May 29, 1953. These duo climbers ascended Everest Base Camp via the south col from the Khumbu glacier and continued their ascent to the summit via the south East Ridge. This route, thereafter, has been considered the most popular route to climb Mt. Everest via South side. After few days of acclimatization at the Everest Base Camp (5380m) we begin our climb through the Icefall to the Camp1 at dawn and return again to our Base Camp. Our Sherpa guide at Base camp will practice all the expedition members to become familiar with Icefall. We will allow enough time to expedition members to be acclimatized with environment and altitude before we head to Camp2, Camp3 and Camp4. We take expedition members to Khumbu Ice Fall, Kala Pathar, Gorakshep before moving to Camp 1. Our Everest summit plan normally happens in a single attempt on 6-7 days from Base Camp in this way- Everest Base Camp to Camp1, Camp1 to Camp2, Camp2 to Camp3, Camp3 to Camp4, Camp4 to Summit and back to Camp4, Camp3 to Base Camp and continue trek back to Lukla and from Lukla take a flight to Kathmandu. Summit to Mt. Everest depends on weather and snow conditions. Since 2010 international mountain expedition groups have been organized by Adventure 14 Peaks with the support of our highly professional climbing Sherpas in a complete safety and 100 % success record to reach the summit of Mt. Everest via south side.
